Join us for the spectacular Skye Half Marathon 2027! Celebrating its 43rd year, this iconic race offers a stunning chip-timed loop through the Isle of Skye's breathtaking countryside. Race along beautiful closed roads and take in the island's unforgettable scenery.
Returning for the third year! The popular Isle of Skye 10k Run is also open for registration. This shorter distance is perfect for runners of all abilities.
Bring the whole family! We also have a fun run with finisher medals and age group prizes, perfect for keeping young ones entertained.

Race Day Timings:
- Friday 12th June, 5.00-8.00pm Registration at Portree High School
- Saturday 13th June [race day] 8.30am Registration for those unable to attend Friday [5-8pm] registration
- 9.30am Bag drop opens
- 9.45am Registration closes
- 9.45am 10k runners board two waiting coaches to go to their start line
- 10.15am Skye Pipe Band will welcome Half Marathon runners to the start line. Once you hear them play, please move to your predicted time area
- 10.20am Half Marathon starts
- 10.30am 10K & Fun Run starts
- 11.15am Toddler Dash starts
- Approx 12.45pm Prize giving
Cancellation Policy
We'd like to clearly outline our cancellation policy for all participants. Please understand that under this policy, no refunds can be provided. In addition, please be aware that from Monday, June 7th, we are no longer able to accommodate deferral requests. This is because significant race-related expenses have already been committed by this point in our preparations.
