Join the Skye Santa Dash & Dawdle: A Festive Fun Run for All

Get ready for a jolly good time! The Skye Santa Dash & Dawdle is returning to the enchanting streets of Portree bringing a sprinkle of holiday magic.  This festive fun run is perfect for everyone, from seasoned runners to casual walkers - join us on Saturday 30th November 2024, 10.30am. 

Why join?

• Festive fun: Dress up as your favourite Christmas character and enjoy a fun-filled morning with friends and family.
• Free festive headwear: All participants will receive a complimentary hat band.
• Fun finishers medal for all Santa Dashers.
• Free Tinsel Toddler Dash at 10am for under aged 3yrs in Somerled Square.
• Prizes: Win prizes for the best individual and team costumes,
• Santa Paw Parade - run with your furry friend [on a short lead].  First place prize for best dressed "Santa Paws".
• Refreshments: Enjoy hot chocolate and sausage rolls at the finish line.
• Charity: Support Skye & Lochalsh Cancer Care and Skye & Lochalsh Citizens Advice Bureau by making a donation during registration.

How it works:

• Distance: The race is a 1.75-mile dash or dawdle suitable for runners, walkers, children, and those with strollers or wheelchairs.
• Registration: Sign up today and purchase a Santa suit or Christmas T-shirt (limited supplies available).
• Participation: Bring your kids, friends, family, consider forming a team or getting sponsored to fund raise for our charitable causes. 
• Route: The race starts and finishes at Somerled Square in Portree.

• Date: Saturday 30th November 2024

• Registration: Portree High School, Friday 5-7pm / Saturday 8.30-9.45am.

• Start/Finish: From 10am at Somerled Square

• Distance: 1.75 miles

Join us for a magical morning of fun, laughter, and holiday spirit!  Very young Elves under age 8 years must be accompanied by a grown-up Santa or Elf.
